Stabbilita fl-1961, l-Awtorità tax-Xandir ... monitors and regulates all Radio and Television broadcasts originating from the Maltese Islands. It is an independent statutory body consisting of a Chairman and four other members appointed by the President of Malta acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister given after consultation with the Leader of the Opposition.
The Broadcasting Authority’s aim is to help the Maltese public better understand how its values and diversities shape our unique personality by regulating local broadcasting services in open flexible ways fostering creativity and better programming.
