Gordon Dimech - Chief Technical Officer
Mr Gordon Dimech joined recently the Broadcasting Authority in 2024. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Computing from the University of Greenwich. During his career, Mr Dimech occupied various roles, such as the Chief Information Officer in the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youths and Research and Innovation. In his other previous roles, he held the positions of an IT Lecturer within MCAST, an IT Assessor/Evaluator for various institutions, and a Management Information Systems Officer in the Ministry for Finance.
Mr Dimech has a broad experience in IT skills, such as in Networking and in Computer Software Applications, and he has an extensive knowledge in the Telecommunications sector. He is a member also of the e-IRG group, which is a European body that has the aim of improving eInfrastructures of the European states.
