Requirements as to Standards and Practice as to Advertisements, Methods of Advertising and Directions
on Public Collections on the Broadcasting Media
Reference is made to Government Notice No. 1105 of 2008 published in the Government Gazette of 12th December 2008 – vide copy enclosed for ease of reference.
In terms of these new Requirements as to Standards and Practice as to Advertisements, Methods of Advertising and Directions on Public Collections on the Broadcasting Media, the Authority will be ensuring that with immediate effect, all advertisements and notices dealing with or referring to a public collection and all programmes which are devoted entirely to a public collection or in which reference is made to a public collection comply with the attached Requirements.
Should this not be the case, a charge against the defaulting station will be issued by the undersigned.
