Work on the Għargħur Transmitting Tower
Please be informed that on Monday, 30th of January 2023, work needs to be carried out on the very top of the Għargħur Transmitting Tower, weather permitting. During this period some service interruptions might occur. In order to minimise the impact of this work while safeguarding the health and safety of our personnel, the Authority will be switching all the transmissions onto the backup antenna at a reduced transmission power.
Work is expected to start at 09:00 and lasts around 4 hours. We kindly ask you to have your technical personnel on standby at Għargħur at 08:30 so that the necessary changes can be applied before the work can kick off.
While thanking you for your cooperation, please inform your producers and presenters who will be notifying their listeners accordingly.
