Seminar
Gender and Race Discrimination in Malta
The Broadcasting Authority, in collaboration with the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality, have teamed up together to organise a seminar addressing gender and race discrimination in the media. I am enclosing with this circular a copy of the seminar’s programme.
This seminar is open to those persons in broadcasting stations who are working in the Sales and Marketing Department and who are thus in contact with advertisers. The Authority’s and NCPE’s staff will also attend this seminar.
The seminar is a morning seminar and will be held at the Hotel Excelsior in Valletta on Thursday, 5th June 2008. The Hotel is making available free parking space in its garage (opposite the Hotel’s entrance) for seminar participants.
I look forward to your station’s participation in this seminar which will be addressed by Dr Brenda Murphy and Dr Ruth Farrugia who are both authorities in their respective field.
Participation is free.
I am attaching a registration form to this Circular. Kindly forward it duly filled by not later than Wednesday, 28th May 2008 at the address indicated in the form.
