Work on the Għargħur Transmitting Tower
Please be informed that on Thursday 26th September 2024, work needs to be carried out at the Għargħur Transmitting Tower, weather permitting. Since during this work, the master antenna will be switched off, the Authority will be switching all the transmissions onto the backup antenna at a reduced transmission power. This is to safeguard the health and safety of our personnel.
Work is expected to start at 08:00 and lasts around 4 hours. We kindly ask you to have your technical personnel on standby at Għargħur at 07:30 so that the necessary changes can be applied before the work can kick off.
While thanking you for your cooperation, please inform your producers and presenters who will be notifying their listeners accordingly.
