Għargħur Transmitting Tower
The general public is being informed that the projected works on the Gharghur Transmitting Tower have reached the final stage.
In view of this, tomorrow, Saturday 16 April there will be a switch-off of all nationwide radio transmissions between 6.45p.m and 7.45p.m. so that the conclusive testing of the new Master Antenna is conducted. The Broadcasting Authority will employ its best endeavours to limit the interruption and to re-instate the transmissions in the shortest time possible.
The Authority regrets any inconvenience caused on this occasion and throughout the implementation of this whole project.
