Switch-Off at Għargħur Transmitting Site
In view of problems being encountered as a result of interference created on emergency frequencies, urgent works related to intermodulation analysis of the combiner unit will take place at the Għargħur tower.
This necessitates switch-off of all nationwide radios from 11.00p.m. on Friday, 17th January 2014 until 6.00a.m. on Saturday, 18th January.
Whilst apologizing for any inconvenience caused, the Authority will strive to reduce as much as possible this switch-off of radio stations.
